 Nu Delta Pi was formed Nov 9, 1964 on the campus of then Newark State Teachers College. The Founding Fathers of the organization were recruited by the more traditional fraternities on campus at the time, yet were unmoved to pledge. Fraternities married to exclusive identities (Football, Culture, Politics, or Academics) failed to deliver on the expectation of what these young men had in mind. There was something missing…
